Inhaltsangabe:   Paul Henry Maty berichtet Herzog Ernst II. von Sachsen-Gotha und Altenburg über den Oliver Goldsmith, besonders über dessen "A History of the Earth and Animated Nature, London 1774" sowie über Howard, Charles [Anonym: A country gentleman]: Considerations on the Penal Laws Against Roman Catholics in England. And the New Acquired Colonies in America. In a Letter to a Noble Lord, London 1764, und Dagge, Henry: Considerations on Criminal Law, 3 Bde. London 1772.  Abschließend erwähnt Maty kurz die Reise der Naturforscher und Botaniker Joseph Banks und Daniel Solander nach Island, den Hebriden und den Orkney-Inseln, mit der Bemerkung, dass beide Forschungsreisenden im Oktober 1792 zurück sein wollen.
