Bemerkung:   Das Begleitheft zur Ausstellung „The Armoury of The 1984 Miss General Idea Pavillion“ von General Idea wurde vom 49th Parallel-Centre for Contemporary Canadien Art in New York zur gleichnamigen Ausstellung, die vom 13. September bis 11. Oktober 1986 stattfand, herausgegeben. Es handelte sich dabei um eine Wanderausstellung, die von der Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo organisiert wurde. Auf der Titelseite des Hefts ist eine s/w-Abbildung von General Ideas „General Idea. Baby Makes 3“ (1984) abgebildet, die Felix Partz, AA Bronson und Jorge Zontal gemeinsam in einem Bett zeigt. Außerdem beinhaltet das Heft den Text „From Zuggurats to Curlicues. Principle Features in the Art of General Idea“ von Tim Guest sowie eine Auswahl an Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen, an bibliografischen Referenzen und an Videos von General Idea. // The booklet accompanying the exhibition “The Armoury of The 1984 Miss General Idea Pavillion” by General Idea was published by the 49th Parallel-Centre for Contemporary Canadien Art in New York for the exhibition of the same name, which took place from 13 September 1986 to 11 October 1986. It was a travelling exhibition organized by the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo. On the cover of the magazine is a b/w illustration of General Idea’s “General Idea. Baby Makes 3” (1984), which shows Felix Partz, AA Bronson and Jorge Zontal together on a bed. The booklet also contains the text “From Zuggurats to Curlicues. Principle Features in the Art of General Idea” by Tim Guest and a selection of solo and group exhibitions, of bibliographical references and of videos by General Idea.
