Inhaltsangabe:   Files 55-60 contain letters sent by Hillis Menze (signed as "Greifhillgreif") to Karl Wolfskehl (addressed as "Greif"). Several letters seem to be incomplete.  The letters of files 55-57 were primarily written from the agricultural settlement of Frankenfeld (Gernsheim) in Hesse, a "Lebensreform" project of young people who focused - besides working the farm -, on body culture (dance and gymnastics), art, literature and social work.  The letters are almost entirely undated but must have been written in the period between approximately 1920 to fall 1921 when the agricultural settlement in Frankenfeld was dissolved. To single letters, there are stamped envelopes attached.  The letters of file 56 describe life at Frankenfeld, however, dealing particularly with work options after Hillis Menze's planned departure from the settlement including a position at an agricultural settlement under Gertrud Osthaus (wife of Karl Ernst Osthaus, German patron of avant-garde art and architecture); talking about the option of going to Italy, mentioning other members of the group having already left for Italy; references also to the meaning of Stefan George, his poetry and his circle - particularly Wolfskehl - to the members of the settlement; tension and interaction in the group
