Bemerkung:   Das Anschreiben von Jeanette Hlinka, Präsident*in der The Gershon Iskowitz Foundation, und Nancy Hushion, ausführende Direktorin der Foundation, datiert auf den 18. Oktober 1989, wurde gemeinsam mit einer Kopie der Publikation „AIDS - A Project of The Gershon Iskowitz Foundation“ von General Idea versendet. Die Publikation wurde 1989 von der The Gershon Iskowitz Foundation herausgegeben (JCA1GENE109). Hlinka und Hushion informieren in dem Schreiben darüber, dass die Publikation in Folge der Verleihung des Iskowitz Preises an General Idea 1988 herausgegeben wurde, mit der Intention durch die Dokumentation des „AIDS“-Projektes mehr Aufmerksamkeit für die gesellschaftliche Bedeutung des Projektes zu generieren. Außerdem informieren sie über die Hintergründe und Aktivitäten der Foundation. // The letter from Jeanette Hlinka, then President of The Gershon Iskowitz Foundation, and Nancy Hushion, then Executive Director of the Foundation, dated 18 October 1989, was sent along with a copy of the publication “AIDS - A Project of The Gershon Iskowitz Foundation” by General Idea. The publication was issued by The Gershon Iskowitz Foundation in 1989 (JCA1GENE109). In the letter, Hlinka and Hushion explain that the publication was published following the award of the Iskowitz Prize to General Idea in 1988, with the intention of generating more attention for the social significance of the project by documenting the “AIDS” project. They also provide information about the background and activities of the Foundation.
