Bemerkung:   Das farbige Dia zeigt eine Ausstellungsansicht von Michael Buthes Ausstellung „Le Dieux de Babylon“, die vom 27. Januar bis 24. Februar 1974 im Kunstmuseum Luzern zu sehen war. Es handelt sich um Dia 1/18 der Fotoserie (JCA1BUTH005–JCA1BUTH022). Die Wände eines länglichen, spärlich beleuchteten Raums sind mit roten Tüchern behängt, darüber sind Gemälde und Collagen an der Wand aufgehängt. Im Hintergrund steht ein fragiles Gebäude aus Holzstreben, dass einer kleinen Scheune ähnelt. Im Vordergrund der Fotografie ist eine Skulptur zu sehen, die an eine großen Schwertklinge erinnert, auf Tüchern aufgebahrt ist und am Schaft auf mehreren bunten Holzstäben liegt, deren fächerförmige Verteilung an Federn erinnert. Die Fotografie ist leicht unscharf. // The colored slide shows an exhibition view of Michael Buthe's exhibition “Le Dieux de Babylon,” which was on show at the Lucerne Art Museum from 27 January to 24 February 1974. The walls of an elongated, sparsely lit room are draped with red cloths, above which paintings and collages are hung on the wall. In the background is a fragile building made of wooden struts that resembles a small barn. In the foreground of the photograph is a sculpture reminiscent of a large sword blade, laid out on cloths and resting on several colorful wooden sticks whose fan-shaped distribution is reminiscent of feathers. The photograph is slightly out of focus.
