Bemerkung:   Das Farbdia zeigt eine Ausstellungsansicht von Michael Buthes Ausstellung „Le Dieux de Babylon“, die vom 27. Januar bis 24. Februar 1974 im Kunstmuseum Luzern zu sehen war. Es handelt sich um Dia 4/18 einer Fotoserie (JCA1BUTH008–JCA1BUTH025). Die Wände eines länglichen, spärlich beleuchteten Raums sind mit roten, bodenlangen Tüchern behängt. Darüber wurden Werke, vermutlich Gemälde angebracht. Das eine wird von der rechten, oberen Ecke der Fotografie angeschnitten, das andere von der linken. Im Zentrum der Fotografie ist eine Installation zu sehen, die an eine große Schwertklinge erinnert. Sie ist auf gerafften Tüchern aufgebahrt. Von der unteren Kante beziehungsweise dem Klingenschaft gehen mehrere bunte, lange Holzstäbe aus, deren fächerförmige Anordnung an Federn erinnert. // The color slide shows an exhibition view of Michael Buthe’s exhibition “Le Dieux de Babylon,” which was on view at the Kunstmuseum Luzern from 27 January to 24 February 1974. This is slide 4/18 of a photo series (JCA1BUTH008–JCA1BUTH025). The walls of an elongated, sparsely lit room are hung with red, floor-length cloths. Above them were works, presumably paintings. One is cropped from the top right-hand corner of the photograph, the other from the left. In the center of the photograph is an installation reminiscent of a large sword blade. It is laid out on gathered cloth. Several colorful, long wooden sticks extend from the lower edge or blade shaft, their fan-shaped arrangement reminiscent of feathers.
