Ital. Adeliger, Diplomat in span. Diensten. Für seine Veridenste in der Schlacht bei Luzzara zum General (Maréchal de Camp) ernannt. 1715 außerordentlicher Gesandter der Spanischen Krone in Paris. Kopf der "Verschwörung von Cellamare", die den Sturz des französischen Prinzregenten und die Einsetzung Philipps V. zum Ziel hatte. Aus Frankreich ausgewiesen. Anschließend Generalkapitän von Altkastilien .
