Inhaltsangabe:   Das MS setzt sich zusammen aus drei Stücken: (1.) S.1-10 (mit dem Haupttitel; Cullmann hat ein hs-Blatt 3 über die Parallelen in den Oxyrrhynchus-Papyri eingefügt); dieser Teil ist nach den hs Bemerkungen als Vortrag in England gehalten worden: "I hope that my stay here will be to me one more link with the English theologians to whom I feel myself so close ..." (2.) S.1-10 (betitelt: "The Gospel of Thomas and the Synoptic Tradition. 1. Discovery and Character of the Gospel of Thomas") und nochmals S.1-11 ("2. An Independant Old Tradition of Sayings of Jesus?"). Die Situation ist anders als zur Zeit des in Amerika benutzten Vortrags, den er erwähnt. OC hat hohes Lob für die mehrsprachige Ausgabe bei Brill (Winter 1958-59) erhalten. Es handelt sich um Vorträge, die Cullmann Ende Mai in London am King's College gehalten hat. Sie wurden 1961 und 1962 in etwas veränderter Form gedruckt (Biblio 273/285). (KF, 2008)
